ISRO’s next mission after Chandrayan-3 As per the confidence seen in ISRO scientists, the next ISRO mission looks like it is prearranged. ISRO chairman S. Somnath said,We are planning to launch in the first week of September. After successfully completing the mission of Chandrayan-3, Aditya L1 is planning his next mission to study and investigate the sun.
ISRO’s next mission
The Aditya L1, India’s first space observatory for research on solar, has been set to launch from the launching station at Sriharikota, as told by the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) at its satellite command center this week as ISRO’s next mission.
Satellite Aditya L1: The Next Mission of ISRO
The name of a satellite Aditya is derived from a Sanskrit word that means sun. The mission of the satellite will be to study solar winds, which can cause disturbances on Earth that are seen as The mission of the satellite will be to study solar winds, which can cause disturbances on earth that are seen as the “auroras” (northern lights and southern lights).
Also, this mission will help understand the sun’s impact on Earth’s climate change by observing numerous small jets of changed particles expelled from the corona, the sun’s outer atmosphere.
As per the ISRO website, the payload of Aditya L1 is tuned to observe the solar atmosphere, mainly the chromosphere and corona. In-situ instruments will observe the local environment at L1. There are a total of seven payloads onboard, with four of them carrying remote sensing of the sun and the other three carrying in-situ environments.
