1. Unattended countries

2. Luxurious cars for G20 summit delegates

1000 delegates from all 43 different countries attending the G20 summit are going to present during events on September 8–10. Around Rs. 3 crore has been spent on demanding luxurious rental cars like BMW, Audi, and Mercedes for delegates. One car rental company has gone ahead and purchased the Uber Luxury Mercedes Maybach 580 specifically for the G20 summit.

3. Security and Traffic management for G20 summit

The Delhi police have taken responsibility for all the traffic during the G20 summit. Various major public restrictions have been seen for this event, like closing most of the gates of metro stations, changing the traffic route, and heavy deployment of forces of various troops.67 gates at 39 metro stations will be closed during the summit.

Major traffic changes, like new routes instead of common routes, are planned. Changes in routes are that instead of Sardhar Patel Road, Ashram Road will be used, and instead of Koutilya Road, Mahatma Gandhi Road will be used. Troops of the NSG, CRPF, ITBP, Delhi Police, Army, Air Force, and Navy have been deployed for the security of the public in view of security of G20 summit 2023.

At the entrance of the G20 Summit venue at Bharatmandapam in Delhi, a 28-foot-tall bronze statue of Natrajan has been erected. This Nataraja statue, which is the largest in the entire world, represents the cosmic power of creation and destruction as well as the lord of dance.

This statue was transported from Tanjavur to Delhi and was made in Tamil Nadu by Swami Malai. It is 28 feet high. The statue was created using lost wax casting and traditional sculpting techniques of the Chola Dynasty, using eight different metals. It is made of around 82% copper, 15% bronze, 3% lead, a minor bit of gold, silver, and mercury, and weighs about 19 tons. It took 18 trained workers six months to complete it.
